Personalized laser hair reduction
Laser hair removal uses a concentrated beam of light that is selectively absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicle. That light energy converts to heat, which damages the follicle and inhibits future growth — targeting the dark pigment in the hair while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.
Because hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are required.
Additional treatments may be needed depending on ethnicity, the areas being treated, your hair type, hair growth pattern, and hormone imbalances.

- Selective photothermolysisThe process behind laser hair removal, where the laser specifically targets melanin in the hair follicle.
- Hair growth cycleNot all hair follicles are actively growing at the same time, so multiple treatments are needed to catch hair in every stage.
- Melanin dependenceWorks best on dark hair with high melanin content, which makes it less effective on blonde or grey hair. That's where electrolysis comes in.
- Treatment processThe device delivers pulses of light to the targeted area, causing a sensation often described as a warm pinprick.
- Potential side effectsTemporary redness, swelling, and discomfort at the treatment site.
The Benefits
- Reduced ingrown hairs — targets follicles directly, preventing hair curling back and growing inward
- Improved skin texture — smoother, irritation-free skin, ideal for sensitive skin
- Less painful — less discomforting than plucking hairs out by the roots
- Longer lasting — permanently reduces growth, unlike shaving or creams
- Saves time and money — fewer razors, creams, and appointments over the years
- Minimal side effects — most commonly redness at the follicle lasting 24–48 hours
- Plan your aftercare — discuss skin reactions, sun exposure, and when to resume your usual activities at your consultation
- Helps other skin issues — can reduce inflamed bumps and itching
It also promotes smoother skin and prevents razor bumps, skin irritation, and reduces body odours.
Permanent hair removal, one follicle at a time
Where laser depends on pigment, electrolysis does not — which means it works on blonde, red, grey, and fine hair that a laser cannot see.
- A trained electrologist inserts a thin wire into the hair follicle.
- An electric current is sent down the wire to the hair root.
- The current destroys the follicle, preventing regrowth and causing existing hair to fall out.
Electrolysis can be uncomfortable and may require multiple sessions. The number needed depends on the person and the area. Clearing an area completely can take several months to a year, because there are three different hair growth cycles.
Book ElectrolysisWhich method we use
- GalvanicUses direct current to create chemical changes in the follicle.

- BlendCombines galvanic and thermolysis.
- Cost-effective long term
- No more ingrown hairs
- Minimal side effects
- All skin & hair types
- Time-saving
